Join us this Wednesday night! Even if you’re the farthest thing from being vegan/vegetarian. Proceeds will go to Mercy Corps (their sister parter in Japan, Peace Winds, are on the ground, providing relief in stricken areas).
My friend Daphne and her company, Verite Catering, will be selling some of their food at the event. A few weeks ago, I had a few of these brownies she cooked up for another event. They were so amazing, it was life-changing. And no, there was no pot in them, you silly goose.

There will be music and comedy. Some pretty awesome artists.
I also will be rocking the ukulele and singing my ode to possibly the most famous vegan in the world, a certain Natalie Portman. I rarely play that song out nowadays, but I feel it would be appropriate.
