This is what I created on the train ride an hour ago from NYC to Long Island, using samples and the drum machine from Logic Pro. Super rough and terribly mixed, but hopefully you get the idea.
I’m going to make a song out of this, called “Fool Around”. I’ve already got a verse melody bursting in my head, and the chord change (vi minor to I major/5 to ii minor) and melody for the chorus. But first, I’m off to get ingredients in my first attempt to make vegan kare-kare with a friend. I’m hoping this will be a productive music/food making weekend.
